Never give up
So as far as I am concerned, this is just weird. I started Monday at 129. This morning I was 124. I have lost a pound a day and I have absolutely no idea why. I have done nothing different than I have been doing for the past however many months. I have lost more weight this week than I did in January.
So Sue and Stacey, and everyone else who is thinking they are done, don't stop. All I have done is to keep on keeping on. Follow the plan. Yeah, maybe I will bounce back which is pretty typical of me for now, but 124.4 today after 125.0 yesterday and 127 the day before is pretty fricken amazing for being 9+ months out.
And for the first time since I got married 38 yrs ago, I am at a normal BMI.

I totally concur! I thought I was done back in April...the scale was at a dead stand-still, no matter what I did. BUT, since then I've lost almost 10 more pounds....granted it's half a pound at a time but it all adds up...plus I went down another size! You are so right....DON'T give up!
Oh yea....congratulations on the NORMAL BMI!!!!!
That's HUGE!

First- congrats! Isn't odd---we get discouraged easily and think our bodies are settled---but there is wiggle room forever. I can say I have not lost as much as I had hoped with my revision (about 26 pounds since March) but...it definitely feels so much better and I am know I am not done. My original surgery--they told me it was possible the whole way to 18-24 months, and to expect stand stills...even long ones. So---I am hoping and working to prove to my surgeon (revision) that the point was not only to stop the gain and cease that process...but to get me down where I was. almost 30 pounds brings me to where all the 2nd baby weight and inactivity from my back surgery and my 3 stomachs had lead me...now the work begins...get to where I was before my fist kiddo...and toward a healthy normal BMI. I am 5'8 or so (back surgery may have decrease me from almost 5'9) so I know I will not be 150 pounds..but I am okay with just being normal and healthy. Don't look for the hoary I'm a 2 post from me. LOL.
Keep working those WL skills Price and you will be amazed especially if you are only 10 months or so...you got another year even as a lightweight! But I suspect if you get much lighter we will be looking for you in the breeze.

That is so good to hear. I have been stuck at 133lbs, sometimes bouncing up to 135 and back, so I have been worried that maybe this is it! I will be at 9 months on July 4th and I would really like to get down to my goal of 125lbs sometime this summer. You have given me hope that this can happen. I will just stick with my program and see what happens!

I truly hope this is true for me, I have been so discouraged lately and have no clue what else to do. I have cut ALL carbs except healthy ones and all sugars. I have been so good with my eating and excercising. I hope it really is true. Although I am officially at 129 now. Cross your fingers that I make it to my goal by my year mark....
Wow that is amazing! Good job.
